Must get the government to do one here in Victoria too. Brilliant.

Well damn.  Wish I would have seen that before I bought my Harley.  I didn't know I wasn't supposed to be taking corners as fast as I do.

I do agree that some models with mid controls or floor boards that are lowered to look cool don't corner for nothing, but the touring bikes I have corner just fine.

I test rode a softail slim S and it couldn't even go around an on ramp to the interstate at speed without dragging the floorboard all the way around.

^^^exactly.

I personally love all motorcycles.  They all bring a different experience to riding.  Wouldn't it be boring if all we had were UJMs.

He's a superb rider ... but what are all those scraping noises as he's taking the turns?

Lousy cornering clearance was de rigueur with Harley’s not so many years ago, but the new bikes seem to improve every year. I just checked out a new Road Glide the other day and felt that both the engine and chassis was much better than ten years ago. It was still too heavy for my tastes, but a nice machine, nonetheless...

And the Guzzi's in the past ten years are great, once the dealer gets them to run well. And they'll last until some part is needed, or the dealer goes out of business, or...

Actually, there have always been models with decent clearance, they just had more and more more ones that were lowered in the past decade or two.
