« on: February 21, 2018, 01:11:05 PM »
12 noon Friday March 16th

Martin's Restaurant

2000 Ocean Shore Blvd. (A1A), Flagler Beach FL |  (386) 439-5830

Flagler Beach

After consulting with Pyoung, et al, we've decided to reprise the annual Guzzi lunch at Martin's on the Friday during Bike Week.

Everyone, Guzzi or not, is invited and encouraged to attend.  12 noon.

Martin's is located on A1A beach road, just south of the intersection with Hwy 100.

We should talk this up if we don't want it to fade off into the sunset like so many other Guzzi things....

If we fail to have a good turn-out this year, we probably won't try it again next year.

Any of you going to the Pantheon Pizza gathering (I assume that still happens) could help out by reminding folks about Martin's for lunch on Friday.

Thanks

I'll be at the Pantheon too. I suspect wavedog will be at both.
The turnout at Martins last year was diminished by cold weather. It was about a high of 50 at noon with pretty strong winds.
Hopefully this year it will be nice.

Yes, I hope so.

I cannot be at Pantheon on Monday.  Pyoung should be there so I hope you guys can let everyone know about Martin's.

Alas, we will have winged ourselves back to the Great White North before either get-together....  Was looking forward to meeting some of the more southern-located clan.

Do keep it alive 'til we can get down again...  (No pressure)

Thanks, & enjoy-

I plan on being there as it is enjoyable to get to know everyone. Another plus is that it is only a few miles from home.

Judi and I should be there.  We won't be on 2 wheels though. Have to bring her convertible as the Doc says no motorcycles until May. Back surgery last week.

I let my club know the H.M.S (historical motorcycle society)
If anyone with a guzzi wanted to go they told me that is the same time and  day the iron butt people have their annual meeting there so expect around 100 riders. They told me we can join them upstairs to meet and greet should be a good time

We held our annual Bike Week Martin's Guzzi lunch last Friday and 29 Guzzi enthusiasts showed up.  Does that count as a National rally???

Many versions of the Italian twin were in the parking lot.  We all had a good time with good people and good food.

Leafman60, thanks for organizing this event.  We had a great turnout and I enjoyed linking up with other Guzzi riders, some of whom I had met before and others were new to me.
