But this year it will be over the second weekend in July, 13-15th, same great location, Elkader Iowa, founded by an Algerian Arab, and home to the western united states oldest keystone bridge!

This is one of the great Midwest Guzzi rallies, and this one has a flavor all its own. Located in a fine community park/campground, with adjoining tennis courts and swimming pool should you feel the need to try and maintain your good health while attending, but still within a short, scenic walk to the local downtown and all the accompaniments that come with such. It's on the calendar. I'm pre-registered. Planning on getting there Thursday unless the expected weather is horrible. Looking forward to it again this year.

I've been going to Elkader since 2000, it really saddens me that I won't be there this year.. first time I came was by Eldorado (a Cadillac) with two of my kids.. we had Nintendo in the tent!

I was all set to run up today and camp, but 93* convinced me otherwise. It's just not fun to ride that heat in my old age. I did Kansas with my son & nephew in the heat. That was enough.
