For all you Griso owners with the stock rear splash guard sill intact I have plans for a DIY fender eliminator made out of some readily available materials. I have produced and sold about 12 or 15 of these over the years and folks really like them. Since I don't have enough raw material to make more fender eliminators, no intent on stocking to make more up and not more Griso's in my future no I have longer has use for the plans. If I find them I'll scan them and attach them to this post.
Seems like a great price to me. If I sold the Lemans........
I'd say it's priced about right. Probably some common problem that needs correction.
I plan on stopping by the dealer on the way back from the Sturbridge rally this Sunday to check it out. Maybe he'll take my LM IV with the funny color on a straight-up trade?? Ya think??
Huzo, might be time to let some things go...
It's a bit of an Aussie thing.I actually don't mean it and never did, just to prickle a few of the stalwarts for the sheer fun.I know they understand..
I will own a Griso one day...
Of all the Guzzi's I've owned, I only had 1 first year Griso. Not sure what a Model II is?Jerry

I just can't wrap my head around how anyone can allow a bike with such graceful lines (except for the toaster) to become "scruffy" at 9k miles.
Maybe I'll skip the Griso and find a V7. Just want an around town bike.
I would. Sure you can ride a heavy, long wheelbase bike like a Griso around town but it's not really it's element. A V7 would be more suitable but in all honesty if you're just zooming around the 'hood I'd take a scooter every time.Pete
