« on: April 14, 2018, 08:30:07 PM »
Yikes, we have about 10-12" and still coming down.. Had to go out in it with my Subaru, lucky I still have the snow tires on but lots of other cars going nowhere. I35, I 94 & I 90 all have closures.

Beautiful today, hummingbirds flitting about .. Eighty degrees, working in the garden, planting grass, taking warm-up rides on the bikes.

Why did you say you live up there in that frozen wasteland again ... ?   :afro:

Rode the Convert 226 miles yesterday, 238 today. Only snow I saw was what hasn't melted yet at Whitetail Ski Resort...

Post back after 24 and 48 hours.  I am curious to see how quickly it melts.

Wow! you're not kidding, just saw this.
A powerful spring storm system was blamed for the deaths of at least three people across the Midwest on Saturday as blizzard conditions blanketed much of the Northern Plains.

Rode 200+ km on Friday on the Port Dover Friday 13th run.  Was cool but sunny.  Today we are enveloped in ICE!!!  Should be back riding by Wednesday.  This winter doesn't want to quit!!!

Foto I feel your pain, fortunately for us we’ve only had 2-3 inches 150 miles north and west of you. Now the sun is coming out, snow has stopped, we just have nasty North winds. Very very glad I have a warm shop, beer in the fridge and the EV on the bike Altar, completing the clutch replacement. Taking my time and enjoying the project. I hear you may be in store for another3-6 inches until Mon am. I’m having a hard time remembering this much snow this late in the season ever.

What is the forecast like this week?  If we had that happen now in Spokane, the weather would pass in no more than three days and in two more it would be gone.  Positive thoughts for you.

Woof

What a snow storm - and it's not like only a few people got snow - it looks like there was PLENTY to go around for a lot of people.

Darned unusual, that's for sure.

My sister (who lives on Washington Island, WI) was in Green Bay with several other ladies for a church related conference.  The storm hit Thursday evening and ended up dropping 24" in that city.  It took the group until Monday to get home.  One of the days were spent in a motel in Sister Bay because the ferry boat from the mainland to The Island could not run due to "white-out" conditions.

An unusual storm for sure.
