'74 BMW R75 parts bike?
« on: September 16, 2018, 07:46:04 PM »
Ran across a fellow today who had a bunch of junk bikes for sale, mostly little trail bikes, etc.  But still in the truck (an old, topless "big" Bronco) was an R75/5 toaster tank BMW.  The tank panels, side panels, & seat were missing, but he said he had them.  Seemed pretty complete, & not horribly rusty or bent.  He said he had never seen anything like it, he just bought it because he "thought it was neat the way the heads went out to the side like that".  He also said it was "froze up".  It has no title.

My question is - would anyone here be interested in it, maybe as a parts bike?  It's located in northwestern Pennsylvania.  If anyone is I can get more info, pictures, etc.
