I'm running the new map and I like how the bike responds when warmed up. The GuzziTech 2:2 stainless exhaust still has the odd quirk of being able to ride away after starting the bike from cold but then it will stall if you need to stop before the bike is fully warmed up. Not really a big issue for me as I just start the bike before putting on my helmet and by the time I'm ready to ride the bike is perfectly ready to go. I fired up guzzidiag before loading in the new map and noticed my throttle advance was reading 1.2 when it should have been 0.8-1.0 and I know it was set correctly last time I loaded a map in. I'll keep an eye on it to see if it drifts in the future (guzzidiag set it to 1.0 after loading in the new map).
Zinfan, reason may be in cable. I always try to make steering straight and suspension "loaded" before making throttle position reset.
Zinfan, I'm sure I could fix that stalling issue. One thing I like to do before resetting any throttle value, is roll the throttle open all the way, then release it to let it spring back to its own resting place.
So to reset the autolearning parameters is that disconnecting the battery or the main fuse? I notice on the V7ii there are 2 fuses that appear to be relative to the ecu. Is there a time factor as well?
No I didnt. I thought that since lambda sonds input is used in your mapping, there was no parameters saved to remove. I have now reset the autolearning parameters and what a difference in throttle respons. I love my bike and your mapping has made it much smoother. Thanks for your support Mark. I have never had such a good support after shopping things in stores. Your mapping is really cheap considered the support you give us all.
Thanks Waxi. I've been trying some Staintune mufflers and think they're great but too much decel popping so will go back to stock mufflers. Am interested to know how the Agostini mufflers go on the V7ii without remap. Anyway, if voiding my warranty wasn't a concern I'd be straight onto one of Beetles maps.
Lol...this ain't no Honda Civic. it's Guzzi, the warranty is only a suggestion...Lol. Try the Beetle map and enjoy.
LOL..me too waiting for the warranty period to be over :P...
Hi Guzzi forum The message below i tried to PM to Beetle(Mark?) but its to old the moderator replies.Any of you willing to help me with mappings and cable advice?
