See you fellas tomorrow.  Work and birthday parties in the way tonight and Sunday (11 to 12ish), so the plan is to ride over tomorrow, leaving in the morning and taking the scenic route and then show up at the campground. Visit a while and head home.

I am holed up in McAlister waiting for the rain to move on which looks soon according to the radar. Once things dry out a bit I will head out.

How's the fog on the Talimena...with that rain it must be pretty heavy I imagine!  Enjoy the frog strangler as much as you can!

I should be there sometime late this evening.

Weather tomorrow should be cool and dry, behind the front that's blowing through today.

I'll be there Saturday morning.    Kindly put me down for a double ration of the Eggs Benedict.  I prefer the coarse ground Belgium rye as to the English muffins.

And Dusty, as we discussed last year.   Please have Doug make the Hollandaise sauce with limes, not lemons.

Doug and Ken Bunch and I went to Pete's.  A load went to breakfast in town just before we left.

Bunch I took the long way back on some twisties and then on the Parkway.  He was running that 97hp Electra Glide on to the highway pegs in the curves.  It was a scary site to watch him from my Greenie.  But he held it together.  Then he disappeared into the fog but he did reemerge.

I'll bet he's cleaning his underwear.

About as nice of a day as one could ask for. Had a very enjoyable ride through the area today. Will post some pictures when I get home. BTW, never seen so many new Indians at one time, 25+ at just one stop. Doug makes some of the best chili I have ever had.

What a great ride yesterday.  Made it home at 10PM last night.  The weather out on the biway was unbelievable.  Lot's of good people showed up that I haven't seen in a long time.  Was great catching up with several that I haven't seen in years.  Remember the reason...

Good job Doug .  Until next time...

Dusty, congrats on that new MGX 21 company bike for being chosen "Moderator of the Year"!

Maybe next year Michael.

The best part of riding a motorcycle is to tilt the horizon and to lift the front coming out of a corner and to drift the back end powering thru loose dirt and to catch a little air topping a hill and... yeah it's all good!

Made it home and unloaded the bike.  Had a great time and a beautiful ride across the Talimena Scenic Byway Saturday.  Thanks Doug and Terry and everyone else who helped put on this great campout.

Congratulations on your beautiful new bat bike, Dusty.  Maybe I will consider becoming a moderator too!  Can I get an all expenses paid trip somewhere and a motorcycle of my choice?

I think we're all in agreement that you and Terry deserve a great big thank you for all the hard work you two did. Great job with the food and setup, shirts and planning.  You two need a rest now!

Got home at 4:45pm. 481 miles. I thought I was taking a more direct route then when I came, wrong I guess. Left on 82 from Talihina. Anyway was a great ride home. Most of the two lanes I rode were light in traffic. Just figured my actual road time against miles. Comes out to avg. speed of 74.57
Even better, this time NO ISSUES WITH MY NORGE, RAN GREAT. Yea! :thumb Would any other sport tours really have been any better?
Will post some pictures later.
Thank to everyone for a great time and the enjoyable interactions.

Anyone have update on Tom?

We went to see him (mike Tim and I) and convinced him to take the donated $$ and go to the motel. He was feeling better after a OxyContin. The nurse told me he had a fractured FUBULA.
