Well done, I always enjoy watching your product reviews, thanks. Unfortunately this one came about a week too late for me,  Imprudent speeding, $ 119.00 my first moving violation in 30 years :violent1: Damn the Tuono

A good radar detector is a worthwhile investment that can pay for itself many times over.

I like the TPX unit, and the factory is very good at support, but the base of mine has cracked and broken twice, both times within fairly short mileage. It's a fairly weak design where it slides onto the mount.  I don't bother using it anymore.

Ive had mine on the Stelvio for over two years and it has saved me numerous times. Well worth the money.

Agreed on the weak base.  I had one break.  That said I have two 2.0, one each on the V7 and Norge.
