I totally agree but Art, that's as close to art as an ole country boy like me can accept. I love the shape of that tank, wish my 1400 had that tank.

Super association, fotoguzzi!

I personally found the view of the V9 from the rear more pornography than art.

But that's just my impression.

He has some more sophisticated stuff too.

For something to be art it has to be completely useless at anything else, see J.Clarkson's piece of the Alfa 8C, oh look a picture of a V9.

The aesthetics of machinery is a fascinating topic.  David Gelernter (one of the Unabomber's victims) wrote an excellent book on this topic called "Machine Beauty."  How and why machines are beautiful if they are simple, functional, elegant, and "right."  Old Emerson radios from 1930s, Bauhaus chair, Hoover dam, the old style black rotary phones, etc.

Many of the Moto Guzzi designs are paradigm examples of that sort of machine beauty, or art, that Gelernter talks about.

To my eyes, the modern V7 small block is one of the most beautiful motorcycles made.  Pure and flowing lines, highly functional, simple, integrated, no excess chrome or gee-gaws, etc.

Well... yeah. The art in that was the act of destroying it.  The notion of buying a Banksy in a frame is the exact opposite of the point of Banksy's art. I 'd argue that in the shredding, it gained value for the buyer.
