I've been looking for photos of the new V7 Stone with one of the aftermarket windshields installed on the bike without success. It looks like MG Cycle has a nice windshield for the model, but I wonder how clunky it will make the bike look. Can someone point me to or post some photos of the V7 Stone with a windshield installed? Thanks!

Thanks! I was too specific when I did my search on the forum. The smaller plexiglass windshields look pretty unobtrusive and functional and that LM1 style fairing and windsheild really looks nice on that white bike. Thanks again for the photos, they are very helpful.

The problem is that crowd never existed, there were just one or two nit wits who couldn't understand differences in bike design/marketing and resultant classifications.

I've got to admit, that rider should think about "lightweight travel."
I tour on a V7. Before that I toured on a 500cc (BMW R50).
But...I tour light. Simplicity and lightness for their own sake.
Carry less and make do. The whole idea of our possessions owning us. Instead of us, owning controlling them.
It's a good reason to like the V7. Simplicity and lightness.

The Record kit fairing is manufactured by Stucchi Luigi for Moto Guzzi too.
Definitely nice looking gear and being Stucchi will be very well made, but I don't think we will see too many around. A friend of mine is a Guzzi mechanic and trying (unsuccessfully) to get a better deal through Guzzi.
The regular Luca Bar designed Stucchi Luigi fairing endied up costing me the equivelant of £600, delivered to my door from the factory (which is a 1/4 mile up the hill from the Guzzi factory in Mandello del Lario.)

I'm looking to buy some of those Guzzi windshield mounts for the 750, used. If I can get my hands on some, i'll look into producing them and a touring windshield to go with them. I've had a few pleas from 750 owners.

I have a v7 stone with a Breva windscreen on it from mg cycle. My dealer had to make a very slight mod to the bracket, but it looks great (at least in my opinion). Take a look at the YouTube video which shows the windscreen.

Just thought I'd revive this thread here a bit since I found some additional screens and also the fact that the little V7s are getting snatched up by Rocker, me, and others here lately! Personally, I just got the Dart Marlin but might eventually invest in one of these below as a Winter shield. Maybe.
Found these online. Isotta brand who I think are known mainly as a maker of Vespa/scooter shields.

Thumbs up on the Breva windscreen. I have a black V7ll Stone, and I bought the Breva screen for $79.00, painted the inside black, and am pleased with the look and the level of protection. Of course, if I wanted to keep my jacket clean I would want a much larger screen. But the V7 looks so cool right now!

- Saw them on National Cycle -- but application list only notes HD motorcycles. Not sure if that matters, but don't know if the mounting hardware changes for different models.
- Saw one on Harper's -- but listed for a different MG model. Again--don't know if it matters.
Might be a single windshield with one set of mounts that may or may not fit a particular cycle.
But--seems like a good choice for cold weather. If it really detaches as easily as they way they say, would be great to only mount it for longer/colder rides.

National has two lines of similar screens:
Plexistar
Plexifairing
National's mounting is kind of universal. Hose Clamps and other hi-tech gadgetry to mount them to the bike. :wink:

I believe I have seen a V7 with a Nevada screen which looked better on the V7 than it ever did on the Nevada. No problems with cable routing.
I'd buy one but think it's a discontinued item now?

Updating this thread. As pictured here, the Dart has really served my riding well these last 1700 or so miles.

The Dart seems like a wonderful 3 season screen in the very least. With colder temps approaching and me also wanting to do some touring - and being mostly a giant pansy in my later years - I decided to get something with a bit more protection. Also being cheap, I didn't want to shell out the $300 plus for the admittedly nice looking OEM screen. After some searching I found this V7 Specific Isotta screen only available overseas through Euronet. Ordered it, ate some patience (took over 2 weeks to get it), and it arrived yesterday, installed today. Isotta makes a lot of Vespa and scooter screens and for $212 including shipping, I fully expected it to be a bit flimsy. It's anything but. Thick as a board as pictured and almost heavy, but not overly so. I'm gonna just come right out and say that I like the looks of the OEM and certainly my Dart better, but initial ride today seemed pretty good mostly. Gives my neck muscles a serious break and reduces helmet drag, certainly. If it was rake adjustable I could make it even better as I think it needs to come back towards me just a slight bit. Anyhow, here are the pics.

Gustaffson shield that is 4" taller than OEM, same curves. I find this to be a really nice touring screen.
