Seattle area?  That was the rumor at the Grit.

Practically IN Seattle; north of Redmond, near Bothell. Call it 6-8 miles NE of downtown.

It says the notice is "shared" to the MGNOC, and the WA MGNOC reps have retired without successors.  So . . . is it an actual MGNOC event?  Who's running the show?

Has anyone checked the MGNOC site ? It seems kinda early to be announcing a national , and I haven't heard a peep . The PNW guys normally contact me when and if a decision is made . Haven't heard anything at all . Not trying to throw a wet blanket on this , just making sure folks know the facts .

MGNOC never announces rally dates until at least January of that year.  This must be bogus.  There was no MGNOC National Rally this year because no State rep. wanted to put it on and they are the ones who do them.

So ,

If true ...

Perhaps , anybody going through southern middle Tn. who needs a overnight camp site could possibly use my yard ?
also as I joined in the ride we could stay at the next fellow traveler's yard , and so on ???

keeping cost down could make the trip possible for some of us  , wouldn't hurt my wallet near as much !

Revising my mileage estimates.  4265 miles in a direct straight line.  Probably over 4500 when done.

It would be over 2900 one way for me. But if I'm on the opposite coast on Guzzi, I'd have to take the scenic rout home...

If you were honest and figured your mileage from where you get on your bike to the Rally, the #s would be a lot less 1 way.

Yeah, I only did about 3500 RT or less, this last trip.  How does one do 3400 from PA.  Must be round trip.

Tom, I thought you were talking about a hypothetical trip from PHX to Seattle next year to the bogus Seattle MGNOC National.   Not the trip you took  few weeks ago here.

2806 Miles PHX-SEA RT.  Hypothetically speaking but might take a detour through Colorado Springs.  Bounce off Idaho and head NW.  I'd have to recalculate.

Neat Calculator Tom !

At 2448 miles / 42 Hours of solid driving  ... I might sit this one out ?    Then another 2448 miles home again ,

One of my other groups has met in Texas for a couple years and its worked out good , or last year (2017) Oklahoma was a good middle ground .
