Yes, rainy day here.  I was dreaming about that red Sport 1100 missing heads.  Work came up at the last minute, and conspiring with a bit of better judgement got in my way.  Earliest I could have been there was 2:00.  The bikes were early in the docket.  So, no news from me.  Not sure I want to hear what I missed at this point.

My take:
Mostly complete Ts, Converts and G5s went reasonable $1600 - $2000
Eldo baskets commanded good prices and the Police  and V7 Sports got good money. I thought the new bikes went very reasonable but there is an element of unknown. The 2002 Lemans was about $4k and the 1997 Sport 1100 about $5k - these were both very low mi.eage bikes in good condition. The Lemans was missing a few small items. Literature / new books went considerably higher than I (or others I talked to) expected.

I expect eBay is going to be full of Guzzi parts and literature!

That confirms my conclusion I would have no business getting involved in a deal like that. There looked to be some nice vehicles which would be nice if they could be titled and ridden somehow or just for some collection. Thank you for the reply.

Any of you notice what the grey Morini 500 (33 miles, missing exhaust) went for?

89 2002 MG V11 LeMans $4000
90 2002 MG V11 LeMans 2750
91 1997 MG 1100 Sport $5000
92 1997 ( but think it was a 1995 ) 1100 Sport - Red $2250
94 1984 MG 850 LeMans $4000
95 1987 MG 1000 LeMans $3000 - believe Groover got this one
98 1975 MG 850 T $1750
99 1975 MG 1000 Convert $1500

I stopped paying attention after that. I was surprised that the Greenie didn't go for more. My mate bought the Griso at a great price; it's so clean , he's very pleased.
There were some good deals on the Guzzi's. I'll have to find a 'WildGuzzi' hat to wear or something next time so I can meet some of you internet forum members.

I am not surprised on the Greenie selling low...I would have not gave the 3k for it especially with no title plus you still have the 10% auction fee. It also was not in the best of condition with scratches and such. The whole bike will need to be tore apart and resealed to be a rider, plus tires and plus fluids. Trust me....I still have a place in my heart for a Greenie and will have one someday to go with my other bikes.

Last auction I went was in Pa. There was a title officer issuing titles. Yes there was a fee, but that made life a little easier.

What do you mean you "believe" - you helped me strap that thing in my van!! (Since I am apparently motorcycle tie-down challenged)   :azn:

I wish I had taken more photos of the Auction Floor, I hope someone did. It was pretty cool to see all the bikes lined up.

Been working on getting the title today.. what a process this is going to be. 9 Steps, with a final court date where all documentations is presented in front of a Judge, then "maybe" I'll have a title.

Nice catch. I had my eye on that one too. After all, it represents a full kit of spare parts for my 1986 Le Mans 1000.

Groover, if you'll send me a PM with your mailing details, then I'll send you a CD with all the Le Mans 1000 factory manuals plus a wide range of information specific to that model.

Thank you LeRoy, though you already send me a packet with Le Mans info when I got my first one earlier this year ( this is my second SE :azn: ) I also see it as full spare for my other one if I can't get this one titled properly. I do refer to that material you collected often and they have been very helpful and much appreciated - thanks again.

I forgot that yours had a license plate on it. I have this feeling you'll find a title somewhere once you go to the OSHP to have the VIN run. I feel like that should have been the second step of the nine.

I did end up getting the '87 Le Mans 1000 SE properly titled in Ohio. I went through a process to petition for a Court Ordered Title:

https://clerk.franklincountyohio.gov/autoTitle/courtOrderTitlesBus

"BB43215" went through the same process with his Griso purchase from that same auction. (I believe that is you..., right?) - If so, thanks for your help getting this all figured out!

If anyone in Ohio needs to go through this and is confused, please let me know and I can clarify the steps in that process. It's a bit tedious with lots of steps keeping you on pins and needles until the very end, and even then, you are not guaranteed to get a Title. Good evidence needs to be presented to the court for a judge to finally sign off on it. It worked in these two cases, but I don't think I'd want to do this again.
