A very Guzzi day
« on: November 21, 2017, 06:40:27 PM »
Hello
Just thought I'd share my observations yesterday on my commute on the trusty SP

On the way to work I had to slightly veer off my standard route due to a traffic snarl. This took me past one of Brisbane's footpath motorcycle parking areas. I spotted a red Mk5 LeMans proudly jutting out from the sea of plastic and scooters. Made me smile.

As I went into the public motorcycle parting area there was a chaps jumping off a Nevada 750. Don't see that every day.

Then as I headed home I spotted in the parking area another Nevada, 2x Brevas, V7 Racer and a V7 Stone.

Positively Common things these Guzzi

Cheers
Jason

That's a rally, right there!

On Whidbey Island I have yet to see another one that I wasn't expecting.  Once I get to the mainland I see about one each trip.  Mostly HD and BMW out this way.  They outnumber the sport bikes and seem to be standard transportation for the ferry commute.  Sometimes there will be 20 or more on the early run to Mukilteo, and there are a half-dozen runs before and during the commute.  Even now in low 40s and rain I hear them going by.

Not even a showroom here, just my garage.  But I like owning a bike not many if any nearby have.
