Good luck, do the rehab, get ready for Sandy Eggo in the fall, JJ..
All the best for your surgery JJ. Hope it all goes well.I had the long headed tendon detach. They don't tend to bother doing anything with it as the surgery tends to give more trouble than just leaving it. However, bow it sits in a ball on the shoulder side of the bicep; only gives trouble with a big bicep strain. Tends to suddenly cramp the bicep.I think you probably will be told not to do much with it for a couple of months.
Thanks again, everyone, for all your kind words and best wishes! Much appreciated! I'll be fine, and post some photos when I recover of me in my "sling-blade-brace" I WILL however, be at both the Guzzi Rally in DATIL, NEW MEXICO in mid-August and Guzzi N.A.R. in LAKE HENSHAW, CA in mid-October, even if I have to DRIVE my SUV!! :1:
Sending good vibes for a successful surgery. Mind your physical therapist...
Best wishes. Hope it came out well, since I doubt you'll read this before you head to the doctor.See you in October.jdg
JJ, are you awake from surgery yet? Do what the doctor says and youll be lifting 16oz cans before you know it!
