Congrats, great when a vehicle turns out to be a good one...what year is the suburban...which engine? I'm in the market for a backup hauling vehicle and have been thinking about getting one...
This is good news for me. I just picked up a really clean 2000 Suburban 2500 LT with 112,000 miles on it. It was garage-kept and runs like it's new. My old 8th generation 'burb went 275K miles before I donated it to a local church. Hopefully, this 9th gen model will be at least that good...
Forget the truck, let's talk about the horse and trailers. When is the Not A Rally at your place ?
Good news Rocker. I have a friend that buys a new Dodge every two years. Payments of 3 or4 hundred a month. IMHO, what a waste.MY 66 GMC and 71 Chev sdtrucks are classified as antiques and insurance is $96 a year for both. I don't know what insurance would be for the fully loaded King Ranch Ford.Tex
We have a F150 in the fleet here @ country home Elevator with 435,000 miles, surprising for a ford.
Reminds me of the old saying,"I have my grandfather's 100 year old axe. It's on its 2nd head and 3rd handle, but it's held up well."Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
It's had some replacement parts and a @#$% load of highway miles
Our Chevy Express rolled thru 350,000 last week!
Now come on guys, don't you know Chevys are junk and don't last?
The 3/4 ton is boss. 6.0L engine and the 4L80 transmission. Not to mention the big differentials.I'd like to have a 2500 Suburban or Yukon. Almost bought one back in January.Tough and will last forever, with a little bit of maintenance.
It's just that no one could ever come up with a clever acronym like "Fix Or Repair Daily" or "Found On Road Dead" because of the "v" and the "y" .....Lannis
