What I noticed is that the Griso is shown as a 2018 model (USA) - are they just using up some left-over CARC components with a new label, in a market where the old engine still meets the regs? Inquiring minds want to know...
I stopped in one of our Michigan dealers and put myself on a waiting list for the V85 (no info at all...sales guy had no idea what I was talking about)....the sales dept had hundreds of bikes in the show room...hundreds of quads and snow machines...I asked about MG and we had to walk out back to a stock building to see the 3 bikes they did have...a Stornello, California 1400 and a V7 Classic.Anyone know of a dealer that promotes the bikes in the Midwest? Thanks for the post :)
My dealer is an avid Moto Guzzi rider and only sells Guzzi.....nothing else.Cadre Cycle in Cincinnati ...owned and operated by Enzo Miller. True Guzzi Guy and worth the effort to buy a bike!
This V85, looking at the wheels, I'm guessing inner tubes, or is that rim still tubeless? Hopefully tubeless.Steve.(image from totalmotorcycle.com)
That XN85's a cutie. Are they actually going to sell that in the U.S.?Todd.
The XN85 was already sold here - in 1983!
I'm looking at chrome 2013 V7 Racers. None of the line up has my interest. Maybe the red Eldo but not at the full bore retail price.
There is a new (2016 model) red Eldo for sale in Vegas for $11K
Cool!Don't the V7 bikes account for at least 50% of Moto Guzzi's sales? (I am not sure if that is by units or by revenue.) If so, they are wise to focus on that line.
I just bought my first Guzzi from Enzo @ Cadre... first class experience, super guy, I'd recommend them to anyone!!I like the slim metal mudguards on the 18's (previously on the Stornello and Anniversario). I may fit a set to my Special. I think they look more elegant, and clean up/lighten (visually) the rear.
