2012 V7C rear brake
« on: February 18, 2018, 09:04:14 PM »
Need to change rear pads. Can't get the pin through the pads to come out. Not made like the front. Has a weird spring wrapping around pin, but main problem is a split roll pin around one end of the pin. There is a small 'e' clip on the other end that came off easily. Any ideas?

I gotta ask cause I did this once and it sounds familiar.

Are you sure you're trying to drive it out the right direction?!?

Timmythehog and sign216, thanks soooo much. The tutorial was great, did like instructed,, changed pads in a couple of minutes. Tonight I will bleed the caliper with some new fluid.
