The ad said "motorcycle parts...." No names. The fotos looked like a scrambled egg collection of bits and pieces, stuck on top of each other with wet cardboard boxes falling on them. After a 15 yr deep storage, they are mine, All MINE I SAY! Good thing i decided to kill an afternoon and take a look.

I seem to have hit a free (almost-guzzi content) shopping spree from air tech....

The jewel, a complete set of Airtec body work for I believe an RD series Yamaha, with period paint and two incredible cool graphics:

Still in the car are TWO more Airtec fairing and seats, a loop frame set of Wixom saddlebags, and more...fotos to follow...as far as price, let's just say he apologized 7-8 times for not knowing what they go to. I handed him his asking price without dickering.

You could at LEAST post the CL ad link like you usually do, so we can read with our own eyes what we missed.

But the CL ad disappears as soon as the parts are sold.

And while it was still up?  Chuck may be very generous with his CL ad links, but he's not a dummy ..... not around this sneaky bunch!

The seller gave a confusing story of a church tag sale, a German motorcyclist road racer from mystic ct, and his hoarding abilities....

All the brackets and bolts for the the yammie rig are there...none of this stuff looked like it belonged together as stored, just a jumble

Rain road racing suit from Britain, beautiful period  leather gauntlet gloves, extra large beemerish waxed cotton tank bag, Jan 1972 issues of motorcycle News, rear rest Beemer

All I need now is something to put it all on....

And thus, another storage museum begins...

Oh, darn. A vintage road racing rain suit? What turmoil. What quandary. I hate to get the GB500TT wet.
What size is that suit, Chuck?  R3~

Just your size....

Medium, Dunlop logo rubberized nylon, mold included, British tea coaster stretchy elastic on wrists and ankles....it'll be soooo proper..

What, now I have to learn who Gus Kuhn is? Work, work, work...NO. Get your picky little hands off my new fairings you sneak...

what do they look like?

Chuck,

If you don't find a home for all those tasty bits, there is a 2 stroke MC show/ meet/ swap meet in August just outside of Philly? I think it run by the Oily pipes group. Here is a link to the one held last year. Plenty of 2 stroke crazies show up.
