Can I run a A piston in a C cylinder? Also what about installing another set of rings in a Chrome cylinder? I did it years ago in a T and had no problem. But no knowing about the A to C issue
I don't think you can run an A piston in a C cylinder, the clearance to the cylinder wall will be wrong. For my Cal II, the 3 classes, A, B,and C represent size ranges for the original pistons, maybe because having a large production run while holding tolerances to a single small number cost too much in tooling and machining, so they allowed the size to vary as forging tools wore, and split the sizes into ranges that they machined the cylinders to.
