Leaving your bike at a mechanic buddy's house.
« on: June 24, 2018, 09:58:05 AM »
Is like loaning a horse to an Amish dood.

The X was running a little rough, not really up to par so I dropped it off at Tim’s (Ozarks Guzzi) one evening when he wasn’t home  I picked it up yesterday running like a top again. Thanks Tim! Too bad it’s raining today

Using it to it's maximum is just use and not abuse. That bike is of the age that on 2nd page in your owners manual that after break in you can take it to maximum permissible limits.
AND it's to be ridden in a Sporting Fashion.

The <<kicking up>> quality is one of my favorite things about the bike!

Plenty of Amish about SW Missouri. The "English" as the Amish call us, farm their horses out to Amish, when they come back they are a better mannered animal - Much better.

I've been told that the Amish are harsh with their animals.  They are tools to them.  That is why I didn't understand the comparison.

Not the ones I've talked to. They work their animals, but take good care of them.

The Amish are much the same as everyone else, some good, some not so good. Their horses are better because they use them daily.
