...second Oklahoma pic taken near Gore?

No; it's well north of Gore. The nearest town might be Vera.

Ahhh...great pics to prepare for winter's onset. Thank you!

Been up to ND a few times for a small rally in Cavalier. The name of the town seems so right as a ride destination given the pressure-packed routine of daily life.

The tee's are an extra bonus!

Another fine presentation Daniel. Any of those South Dakota pics US 212? They look familiar.

Is there a correlation between roads like these and strange noises or vibrations coming from my bike?

It's called automatic-rough.  It's most common when flying a single engine plane over a large body of water.

Creaky 99 has reported that clicking on his post showing the Montana highway will expose your computer to a virus . I removed the post , just for future reference , if anyone becomes aware that one of their posts has this issue it can be removed by the poster . Anyway , take whatever measures needed to protect yourself .

Nice nice nice.  :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

I recognise some of the photos from the Johny Cash Vanishing Roads you did Daniel. I have that bookmarked to keep me sane during winter.

I agree; but I think folks that grew up there seem to appreciate them more than other folks. While I really enjoy the mountains, to really breath and feel free, stand on a small hill (frankly, that is about all we got!) in the Great Plains and look out a hundred miles all around you.

Daniel,

Thank you, I love these open spaces and long views.  Some are my favorites are mountain to desert transitions like where I grew up in SW Colorado.  Not much of these here on the Gulf Coast of TEXAS.  I really have the itch to ride today.

Thanks again. Those that don't ride solo do not see the wonderful scenery you see.
