Does not look good. I ordered three 6 packs and the UPS tracking site shows 8 pounds. Guess it will go back. If it looks too good to be true, it probably is................. ..........
Guys; There are ingredients OTHER than ZDDP that are used to protect your tappets in modern oils, and they have been there for years! ZDDP was simply the cheapest ingredient found to work for protecting metals in older oils. The motor oil industry has moved on and found new ways to protect your engine's metal to metal contact points. In fact the newer additives replacing ZDDP work even better at protecting your engine when cold as well as when hot. You can easily use the latest specification Redline oil in engines with flat tappets. You do not need, or even want, ZDDP in your modern Redline oil. The science has moved on from ZDDP as an additive and you no longer need it.
I have an uncle in New Joisey, works for Exxon chemical company, tribologist/chemist specializing in dispersants in motor oil. ( he has a few patents) and he said exactly what was said above.Rick.
Maybe your uncle can explain why the oil specified by Moto Guzzi for the V7II, eni i-Ride 10W60, is rated API SG instead of "can be used where SG is specified".
I received a refund from Amazon for the entire order amount.I won't be getting 12 qts of oil or any at all.It was a mistake
