This should be very interesting considering I've never ever seen a metal plate attached to the headstock.  I checked my V7S list compiled by a member from France and none start with 1.

Wonder if isn't an 850-T dressed as a V7 Sport? 101847 would be in the range for a T IIRC.

The seller states the bike came from the USA and assumes the at the bike was originally imported into the USA.

A couple things don't seem right, the seller states `The engine number matches the frame number but has no prefix at all. So it is simply 101847.``

A factory V7 Sport engine should be stamped ``VK*XXXXXX*``

The seller states and the pictures confirm ``* VK101847 is stamped in the headstock (as per photo). ``

Bikes imported into North America did not have the serial number stamped into the headstock, under the frame tag which is riveted on is the stamping ``MOTO GUZZI VK* and below that DGM 9104 OM

As for the welded plate I highly doubt that it came that way from the factory

Appears to have a lot of correct V7 Sport parts.

Could be a bitsa, hard to tell from the pictures.
