Before I learned to control my right hand I rarely got 4K.. now it is better and I get more than 6K. It took a fellow rider to point out that I very often lifted the front wheel a couple inches on spirited starts to wake me up. It's all in the wrist..
So, tire life is the same as the FJR?
7K, 8K?
When I get a chance I'll put up a picture of how they look at 6K+
On my Griso I'm getting 12,000+ with Metzler Roadtec Z8s but I ride like an old man. who want's to wear off the head of the elephant
It's all in the wrist..
I just replaced my tires this spring on my 2012 Norge with 11,350 miles on it. Still had a little tread but the rear tire was flat in the center of the tread. Mine had the Perelli Angel GT's on it that came with the bike. I liked them enough that I put them back on. I run the Michelin Pilot 4's on my other bike and like them just as much. I have not worn a set out yet so don't know what kind of miles to expect.
About 6 K here in the flatlands.
