The instructions say "hand wash in cold water and line dry."

I wore an undershirt underneath just to extend the periods between washing. I washed it twice - no problems.

It's a small polar bear my oldest daughter gave to me about 13 years ago when I went out for a winter ride. She told me to "be careful, Daddy." So I've kept him zip tied to my bike during winter season ever since. Superstitious, I know....
