Work Stand Recommendation
« on: May 19, 2018, 06:45:17 PM »
I would like to purchase a stable work Stand for my V7III Special. It must allow access to the oil drain and filter. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance,
Mario

I have the stand for the V7II. Ask them if it will fit the III. If not I am sure they can recommend one.

Unfortunately, the V7II stand will not fit the V7III.  MG do not make a stand for the V7III.  The good news is Hepco & Becker make one (I have one fitted), the bad news is they're not cheap.

BTW, I commented on another post, I do not use the center stand for an oil & filter change.  I prefer the side stand to keep oil spillage to a minimum.  Just my $0.02¢.

Aerostitch has a kit that uses milk crates.  It works well enough and not too expensive.
