Look at it this way...how many times do you get to go to beautiful rural Kansas without being abducted by a cult??

  I'd be up for such a get-together....sounds like a fine idea.  ;-T

Hey CalVin2007,
I’m in Kansas as well and have the same bike.
I’ve read about tires and just wondered what type and size tire you’ve found best results with.
Assuming you still run tubes as mine does.
Thanks,

Last year, we had a "SKYPE" conference call with all the Guzzisti from Cedar Vale and Cottonwood, since our N.A.R's are on the same weekend.  I believe it was "Paul from Houston" (PJPR01) that we coordinated with last time.  We will all be doing THIS anyway on Friday night...    Just let me know...

We can certainly do a Sequel again for the CV/Cottonwood Skype call!

Unless there is a major rain out...I'll be up in CV again this year with the laptop so we can have people chat face to face again!

Cheers!

No one will confuse a Guzzi rally with a beauty pageant...no need to worry about that Dusty!  More for fun to connect the Intercontinental Knot a Rallies...perhaps we should also do a Most Interesting Bike contest between the two sites or some other crazy idea!

Here are my random photos, with a couple of artsy processed images.

Battle Ship Row - CX100 and LM-III up to Norge.

The barn at Hewins Park with the moon rising

My V7 Special in "light touring" mode.

Daniel Kalal, PJPR01 (Paul), Guzzistajohn

The Eskimo Spy's 1200 Sport

A little campfire action

Another shot of the barn

One of our administrators, Chet.

Moto Freakin' Guzzi !!!  (1949/1950 Astore)

Afternoon campfire time.  Lowryter, CalVin2007,  twowings, AMGeneral, Guzzistajohn...

Guzzistajohn's LM-III with Yamaha fairing.

Michael D, Lowryter

Michael D's 1998 California EV.  As usual for a Guzzi campout, several versions of the 1998-2005 California were in attendance.  Maybe half of the bikes at the event were some version of this bike.

Several Norges at the event.  A couple of Stelvios.  A few V7 classics.  No Cal 14s this year.

and I'll finish off with FUBAR Guzzi dancing around the campfire.

Beautiful weather.  Nice venue.  Friendly locals.  A bunch of good Guzzi friends.  Life don't get much better.   :boozing:

Some of my favorite pics from CV . Only 83 days folks .

For those of you on the fence , here are some pics from last year .

We have a couple of surprises for this year (no , there won't be dancing girls)

Come and ride thru the windmill forest just South of town , they will be resplendent in their Spring colors . Believe it or not there are some interesting roads and sights in this part of Kansas and Oklahoma . If you have never been to this part of the Midwest , the locals are wonderful generous folks , and the small villages in the area are a very nice slice of Americana . The museum in CV is great , well worth a visit , and last year the local ladies served us some tasty deserts on Friday night when we visited the museum .

Come on , this is great way to spend a few days with a group of like minded Guzzi folks , and be treated like royalty by the small town .

Hey Dusty or who ever knows where the thread for the Kansas rally went. Need to post this there, looks like it will not be same weekend this year.

Thanks for the heads up on the KS Rally. I had trouble the last two months downloading the MGNOC newsletter so I had not yet looked at the rally schedules. Still interested in going to the Juction City fly in however. Maybe we can get a group together of mutual interest.
