A Wireless Battery - Anyone here seen one or have experience
« on: January 19, 2018, 11:31:21 AM »
I have no plans on buying such an item, and the description is rather humourous, but the fact that something like this exists is really interesting.

Anyone know anything about such an item?

Yea, it's a lightning bolt that flashes across. This was discussed not long ago but really different.

It doesn't matter where in the world you are, what bike(s) you ride, or what color your hair is, April 1st is still a ways off.

Aerostich often throws in weird, funny humor and fantasies, if at least not ready for this century,  items in their catalog. I suspect this is one.

Considering the price...I think I buy this theory!

I wonder what the range is.  Good for whatever is on the bike?  Could it be used with a portable radio?  Anywhere in town?  What protocol does it use?

Questions, questions.....

So why would a wireless battery come with terminals?
Unmitigated risk aversion is the new Puritanism; complete with witch hunts funny outfits and humorless preachers thundering doom. The Deity is Safety; Satan is a Lawyer; but the object is the same: to suck the life out of life and tell you how to live it.

And when you charge it up, can anyone within range tap into your charging field and steal your electricity for their OWN nefarious uses?

And what if you pass a guy on another bike and his negative field intersects your positive field?    A flash, a bang, and a whimper ....

Text says it comes with a lead blanket to put over the saddle. If you want to have kids.... use the lead blanket. If you don't... no blanket.
