Spring in my garage
« on: April 24, 2018, 07:16:15 PM »

Ah, spring is here. I usually leave my garage door open a bit and occasionally critters will get in and build nests. Here we see a mother feeding her young nestlings. Upon close examination we can detect the shy and elusive 10mm. The 10mm matures quickly and is usually the first to leave the nest. Once it departs it is rarely seen again. I love nature.

The biggest problem I have is the Ring-Beaked European 11mm getting out of its territory and trying to nest with the American Seven Sixteenths flock.   It's almost impossible to tell them apart ....

Now that's funny!!  Having lost a couple of 10mm wrenches, I decided it was time to buy them in triplicate just in case another one wanders off!

Now that is funny....what's the deal with the !0mm...always hiding out in the wrong drawer....never staying put between the 9 and 11.

Looks like a nest full of wren (ches)

That's the best pic of a nest I've yet seen.  Boy, I wish I could adopt one of those little critters!   :thumb:

My 14s like ti hide from me until I buy a new one.  Then they get in the way while I am looking for my 12s.
Then the 14s all hide again until I buy another new one again.  I even have two sets than never had a 14 in them.
 Now that is criminal.

I know, right?   I'll tell you what's even worse, it's when some irresponsible tool owner lets THIS roam around when the Crescent wrench is in heat .....

I mean, the kids from that mating can't hold onto ANYTHING .... and I end up with a bunch of them in MY shop!

Be responsible tool owners.   Lock your tool chests!
