V7 III with Sputnik Sidecar
« on: July 12, 2018, 10:53:20 AM »
Saw one for sale with only 700 miles on bike and sidecar. Assembled by DMC. Anyone have experience with a V7 w/sidecar?

You'd need to be a lot braver man than me to get in a chair pulled by a Carb Sport! The pork chops on those were, errr? *Marginal* at best.

After test riding a sidecar, I decided to stick with two wheel machines.

I really don't like the sputnick. I tried a couple of Franken Hacks with the sputnick when I was taking my sidecar class.
They were scarry at any speed over 10mph.
I have an Ural and it handles pretty good.

I tested a Ural. I learned that I prefer the handling and steering of motorcycles without sidecars.

I have since added a Unit leading link front end.
