If there are rides planned, some kind of itinerary would be cool!See you there!Roy
Advanced planning at a Guzzi NAR? Are you new here? There will probably be a couple of routes to the top of Palomar as well as some general fun road rides, but that's about the extent of any advanced planning. It will all be sorted out Friday night after a beer or two.See you there.jdg
LOL, gotcha! I'm just going to be coming from Oceanside, and didn't want to miss out!
...and I'll be coming in from Carlsbad (next to Oceanside). We could probably arrange to head out to Lake Henshaw together Saturday AM. And if you (and others) want to play in the dirt, I can be the tour guide on my Husky. As for finding fun roads... leave the rally point in any direction, take any of the next several turns at random... there are no bad roads out there.
...and mid-October is a nice time of the year in the San Diego area also!!
I am going to make it to this. Don't know if I will be on the Stelvio (most likely) or the California (would seem somehow appropriate), but I will be there. I am hanging out with my friend who lives in Oceanside, so we will ride up to hang with the crew. If there are rides planned, some kind of itinerary would be cool!See you there!Roy
January to December is a nice time of year in San Diego.
I've booked Cabin #11. Not sure rather I'll bring the Sport 1200 or Scuds old LeMans.Leaving for Colorado on 9/26 Rented a house in Pagosa Springs for some leafpeeping in the San Juan's. Mike
Hey Roy We are putting together several routes for a Saturday ride depending on the length and speed. Plan is to post them Friday and Saturday morning for people to choose which one to go on.
Dang it, I'm going to hate missing this one.. SoCal plumbers drywallers et al have to be the slowest in the world. Her Kid's remodel *still* isn't done.
Chuck - do you need a pre- or post-rally place to hang out for a couple days? (offer implied)
This sounds great! Thanks Scud. We will be in the College Blvd/Old Grove area of O'side. I had planned on going out on 76, if you have other ideas or suggestions I'm open to it.
