My very first Guzzi was a silver '76 Convert with a California sidecar on it. I bought it from an old guy's estate with 3K miles on it. The hack was set up so badly it almost killed me riding it home. It pulled so hard to the right I was exhausted from trying to keep it out of the ditch. After I sorted out the alignment and the mounts for the sidecar it was a nice driving rig. Put one gal in the chair and another on the back, whee! Solo it was fun, too. I rode it for a year and sold it to an old guy who ran the hell out of it. I took the money and bought a new red and white SP in '83.
Best,
Larry
