[Antietam Classic Cycle]

I hope to make it down for one (or more) of the VA lunches this year. April and July are looking most promising since the 3rd Saturday is a week after the 3rd Sunday those months. Easier for me to make it when the VA lunch and MD breakfast aren't the same weekend.

Might want to consider the Brookneal Drug Store Grill. FABulous place with great brisket or chicken & waffles or sandwiches. One of my fav places in VA. I almost always stop here for a late lunch after the VA Guzzi rally.

I've always enjoyed it too ... used to take my Mom there for Mother's Day.

" .... after the Guzzi rally".   Yep, take VA8 up to Woolwine, then VA40 to Blackstone and home from there ... !   Not a spectacular road, but an excellent cross-section of Southside Virginia.
