Hi Jim, The bike looks very nice! Well done, there is just one bit that distracts from the nice overall picture. IMHO the seat should retain the flat bottom profile all the way to the end instead of the upwards angle. And the passenger handle too. Maybe it looks better in real life, but it looks a bit funny on the pictures. Anyway I'm sure it is a hoot to ride and you can't see the seat when you are sitting on it -Ulrik
Thanks for your comments. Remember this project was a tribute bike not a replication of a V7 Sport. The v50III seat is what it is and that's the way it is mounted and constructed (The upward angle is the design of the seat pan)A fun project and fun to ride. To replicate a V7 Sport it would be cheaper to just buy one than reverse engineer.
Is that a repop original V7 Sport tank or one for the current smallblock V7 series? If for original, what had to be changed to make it fit the V50 frame? Thanks! Looks great and lots of fun.cr
