Well, as of this afternoon (Thursday), nothing new at the MG booth.

I know color and style is personal, but in-person I thought the silver Griso looked great. There was no one I could ask about the Stelvio wheels. I'd like to know if wire is still an option, or if they will be used on the U.S. Model. The green V7 was super cool with the knee pads added to the tank, and the silver V7 would make a great commuter as it is set up here.

The Piaggio booth was super busy, but sadly, the MG portion often seemed a little slow.

This show is better than anything offered in the U.S. If you ever get the chance to make the trip, you won't regret it.

I was hoping for a slick new Griso SE colorway, but it looks like it's Black Devil again?
I agree, but why can't they offer a few colors like they did a few years ago.  There should at least be 3.

I think it was Rocker59 that suggested replacing the silver of the Black Devil's paint job with Tenni green. That would be an attractive Griso.

Yep.  It would look great!

The current paint scheme with the diagonal stripes is fantastic looking.  I'm just not a big fan of silver body color.

They could keep the scheme, but change the color each year, for a few years.  Drop the silver in favor of Green, then Red, then Yellow.  Something like that.

Is the 1200 8v sport still in the mix?  I see that they show it last on their list on the web site, but doesn't look like it's on display at the EMICA?

Not disagreeing with you guys, since attractive color schemes are entirely subjective and personal.  But I don't think the Griso would've caught my attention if it weren't for the Black Devil's color scheme.

How about a new LeMans AND water cooling?  M-G is already a year late!

Seemingly you're there would it be possible to get some close up shots of the front of the V7 motor to see if we can pick the changes outlined in Motocollismo?

I like that blue with the non-spoke wheels. Hope they bring it here

I wish I knew if and when that might get here!!!

Speaking of the plastic side bags.......  Just did the side by side comparo (viewing and sitting...not riding) of 2013 Norge and Stelvio.  KAB says the Stelvio's a no sale if our Breva's plastic bags don't fit on it.  She intensely dislikes the Trax alum boxes.  And with that big ole exhaust can on the Stelvio,  I can't see our Breva bags fitting..  Our left bag comes straight down from the brackets.   It looks as though it would need a left plastic bag with a cutout. Cry

It's starting to look like the Norge might get the nod for the simple fact of less mods to make it our trip machine.   Our Breva's GIVI trunk and bracket will probably go right over to the Norge.   As for hand comfort,  adding some sort of hand guard protection on the norge would be easier than adding the optional heated grips on the Stelvio.  Factor in the side bag issue....and -

I really don't like the trax boxes either, nor the crash bar and flood lights.  Wish they just brought the standard Stelvio with cast wheels.

On the exhaust needing a cutout on the panniers, I once had a Tiger 1050 and it had a high exhaust and cutout pannier on right side.  I lowered the exhaust to clear, and put a standard pannier on it.  A good welder could do the same to the Stelvio I imagine.

Not sure if you had seen this pic from my earlier post. Not a closeup, but I'm not sure what you're trying to see. Does this help?

So I guess it's safe to say that the U.S. isn't getting the Stelvio with cast wheels and older style bags in 2014?    Cry

Bummer that there wasn't a concept bike on Guzzi's podium...

Yes, that would be safe to say.

That may force me to come up with a plan for getting a 2013 Stevio....and telling my better half that we can use the standard plastic side bags from our Breva.   Actually, it looks like the left bag wouldn't fit because of that massive exhaust.
I'd rather not wait till 2015 for my next Guzzi purchase.

Grin Anyone interested in an 06 Breva 1100 (no side bags!)  only has 52,000 miles on it!!!!!!

The blue stelvio has a dash, tach and information display, that is different than the Norge.  Has it always been that way or is that a new display?

I like it better than my Norge package, which has the chrome ring running through the digital display.  It makes reading the display difficult.

Do you know if the 2014 Norge gauges will be the same as they are now (I have an 07).
