New Seats available - V7 Line

I've noticed AF1 has several variations of new seats for the V7 line.  Wonder if they're more comfy?

I just put the "low comfort gel seat" on mine.  It is more comfortable.  It looks ugly though, that seat you linked looks better!

I have the new 2 seater v7 seat. It's better padded and looks better on the bike than the original seat. Not been on a long trip yet but it is more comfy. I have been using the cafe v7 single seat which I got cheap from TLM, which again I find more comfy than the original.

I just have bought the higher gel comfort seat. It is (at least to my butt) significantly better than the series seat (V7 Stone). It is harder, higher, and a bit narrower between the seams. And it looks good. It is shorter than the original seat and the step between the two places is more accentuated.

I can drive a lot longer without the need to stop. And it is not that expensive.

Do you have a picture of that seat?

OEM Moto Guzzi 1.5 Ribbed Seat -2S000265 (2S000265)
http://www.af1racing.com/store/ProdImages/st3/2S000265.jpg

Perfect for riding in a more aerodynamic position as well as for allowing you to ride two-up when necessary.

Really?    I find that the two up seat provides barely enough room for 2 up.   I'm not that big, and my pillion is 10 years old, and skinny as a rail.    She much prefers the B1100.

FWIW - our two up seating is fine for us on the new v7 but we weigh-in at 260 lbs combined (155 driver and 105 passenger).  I would think our size pushes the maximum on the comfort level other than if you were simply hopping around town.

In my case 180 driver, 80 passenger = the same 260.

It is doable, but, the V7 is not really a good two up bike, for most people.

For sure and best if you are on the narrower of sides.

Yeah does anyone have a picture of the seat on a bike? to see how far it hangs back of if someone could measure the length?
Thanks

This isn't the one from the OP but is the OEM offered for the v7r.  If you like I would be happy to measure this eve?

Not ton's of room for sure but does fit our needs of mostly around town hopping.

There is a short spring sale at BMS/Best Motorcycle Seats-better known as Bill Mayer Saddles which is run by Rocky Mayer.
His stuff is top notch.

This may assist some here.

That would be a huge help if you could measure it as your seat is the other option I was considering for my 2013 Racer.
I have done a fender eliminator kit and rear tail light and if the seat hangs father over the tail light and fender it might look bad.

thanks for the help!

I'm in the market for a custom seat and BMS is one I had considered. After reading your post I checked the website and dont see anything about a spring sale. Are you refering to the r1200gs and dualsport sale?

Yes.  I just saw that it's only those.  Call and ask-they may do it for you anyway.

Yes, I have. But I have no clue how I get it into a post.
