Those do look good! What are they?

I was thinking of getting the Hepco&Becker Legacy Bags for my V7.

Both sets of fabric bags look good; much better than the injection moulded HB Juniors on my bike.
Elvisboy, let us know what your's are like to live with. The roll top is a good weather seal but having to rethread the buckles every time might get tiresome to me. I'm in and out of my panniers all the time. Easy/fast access is a pretty strong draw. I tried setting a Filson medium Field Bag on the HB frames but it hangs too close to the end of the shorties. Would suck to be flitting down the road spewing burning canvas.
At this point it is all fashion for me (vanity has it's cost). The Jrs work great but they are ugly. Looking for better.

OK. Sized right.

Big bags are for big bikes.

They are arriving UPS on Monday so I will let you all know about finish, fit and ease of use.  The Hepco Big Buffaloes I have on my Eldo have straps, key locks etc so it takes a second to open them LOL.  Hoping this will be simpler.

Thanks!

So they are all mounted and ready to go!  Typical issues with getting wrong fasteners but otherwise it was not bad at all to install the brackets.

I like the quick release feature, and the lock feature too.  They look pretty cool too, IMO.

Looks like a factory bag option. Go to the Guzzi web site and click on the accessory PDF. I see them in there. No pricing there though. You can also look at AF1's site.

At the July NATA Rally at Big Basin Redwoods State Park a guy from San Francisco showed up on this rather new bike. I thought the canvas bags looked good and he'd assembled the mounting rack out of brass tubing from the plumbing supply store which also looked good to me.  Canvas bags must be an up and coming trend?

The bags look kind of like these on Amazon.

I also think the bags on this bike are the same.

I was rumaging through some old boxes the other day. I came across a 30 year old set of the bags slung under the seat in the picture. They can still be used, but the buckle is a bit rusty. Think I paid about $10 back then for them.

Those are Guzzi factory bags, they are in the accessory catalog.  You can see it online there or at AF1Racing.  I bought them from my local dealer, Scoot Richmond.  They ran about $1400 with mounts.

So far, they have held up well, they are easy to pack and fairly water repellent.  The buckles aren't bad to use.  I am glad I got them.

Well they look fantastic!  I remember reading somewhere on WG that these were a (fantastic) gift from your brother.  That is assuming I connected the right thread, to the right bike, to the right owner.  A lot of ass u me ing.

Yes!  My younger brother, Tommy.  He went with me.  I told him I needed to check out luggage, he beat me to it (Scoot Richmond guys are awesome about knowing the accessory line).  When he showed them to me, I said "you need to buy me those".   Since he was my little brother, he did as I told him (LOL).  I guess he still thinks I will beat him up if he doesn't do what I say. That ended about 40 years ago but hey, as long as he is bankrolling my insanity it's all good!!!!

 Sucks to be an only child (other than the beating up part).  My 13 year old son asked if he could buy his 9 year old brother a computer game, so they could play together over the summer.  I let him, then secretly replaced his cash.  One good deed deserves another.

Just got an email from Craven Equipment out of Suffolk UK that my Comet sidecases in gloss black have shipped.  They are being sent by "Royal Mail First Class" so I am sure they will arrive in tip top condition.

Now if AF1 in out of Texas can get my HB luggage racks in for my Anniversario, I will be good to go.

Those bags appear to be lying on the Exhaust?  I CAN NOT even brush against my pipes beyond the tiny heat shields.  They burn my boots and melt my shoes and rain suits!  Are those bags some how supported away from the exhaust?

All of those soft bags look pretty neat.

Thanks- it does look like that in the pics but there is plenty of clearance from the exhaust on my bike.
