New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Yes, it can be done because Guzzi did it! There were California IIs sold with that drivetrain. You will need all the convert goodies. Cam, front engine cover, hoses, fittings, oil tank, shift linkage, flywheel, torque converter, transmission, U-joint and shaft, and rear drive box. I may have overlooked something. But to your main concern, it is a bolt up project. The only big hassles are swapping the cam and relocating the ignition coils. Hunter
Thanks! Just wanted to see if there was something different about that Cal II Tonti frame/engine that made the timing covers unique. The Cal II swingarm was longer, so I guess as long as the rear drive box and tranny from the Convert are used, it's all good?Wonder why there aren't a lot of conversions....seem s like a lot of Convert parts floating around.
