More photos needed of the engine.  The one here does not look like a flathead engine.
I did not know Indian made an overhead valve V twin until its' resurgence in the nineties
 with the new company.
 What type engine is that?

...says the man who asks "what's gelato?"

Indian has been a proponent of the latest "Super-Hooligan" class that AMApro seems to be using to provide entertainment between the GC1 and GC2 finals.  Anyway, Indian (and Roland Sands) is using the Scout-Sixty as the baseline.  I'm assuming that's what this is?

It might be Chinese, as are the emos. That is why they don't work. I tried the dead horse, but it was deadly dead.

Not pulling any legs.  Remember I am an old geezer.  To me the phrase Indian flat tracker conjurs up the image of the 750 flathead indian flat trackers that showed Harley how it was done so long ago.
A couple of years before I moved to Hawaii, An old Harley 750 flathead flat tracker showed up in a friends'
motorcycle shop as part of a widows' estate.  It had been modified to be street legal after it retired from racing.  I was thinking of Indian from those old glory days when they were real indians.
I didn't know the new company was building racers.

While you are mixing it up on the track a rider comes up close knocks off that filter, it sucks in the dirt and dies.

The Super-Hooligan class bikes used in AMApro races are not slouches.  But, I do hope that this is a new entry into the GNC-1 class.  I'd expect a struggle the first years, but wouldn't it be great to see another factory team in the mix!

Cool looking bike, I'd like to see more and know more about it.  I do think I'd want an air intake system other than a K&N filter protruding out the left side, ready to dig dirt in a minor crash.

......easy mistake, it's not an air filter, it's an anti passing on the inside device.....

It looks like a race frame, not a Scout frame for sure.  It looks like someone is making a real flat track bike.

So what's the skinny John?  Who?  What?  And Where?

While you are mixing it up on the track a rider comes up close knocks off that filter, it sucks in the dirt and dies.

Nothing new about that.  The old Harley KR-750 flathead racers had a nice, brass Linkert carburetor sticking out on the Left side of the engine at a 90 degree angle, i.e., perpendicular to the center line of the frame.  Filter stuck out farther.  In a low-side get off, you ate the filter and carburetor.

BTW the Linkert carburetors had an adjustable main jet and it was common to see the H-D KR-750 riders adjusting mixture on the straight sections.
