Not really in the middle of Winter ,that would mean riding at -20 to minus 30 degrees C but first chance in March .

Gilmanton, NH. February Ural Camping weekend.
Mine is the first in line to the left.
Low point was only +20°F. High point was maybe 10 degrees higher.
A good time was had by all.
Only time I've ever had to shovel snow to set up a tent.

Be careful out there folks.

Southern Tuscany this morning:

Thought about walking down to the garage, unplugging the battery tender and snapping a photo to comply with Dirk's original instructions, but then said "nah" and just threw another log on the fire.

Nothing from this winter yet.
Here's one from a few years past of "Mellow Yellow", my (now gone) 1997 1100 Sporti. No riding that day, just took it out for a pretty pic.
2nd shot is an oldie,  a friend and I used to ride our '66 BSA and Triumph through farmer's fields during the winters in New York..

Certainly not just looking for 2023 winter photos. If you have a personal Guzzi-in-winter pic from 1922, it belongs here, too :) The more I see ‘em, the less I’m inclined on making a move down south ;)

This January has certainly been bizarrely warm and I have taken advantage of it and ridden perhaps 450 miles of backroads so far, out to Lake Wallenpaupack PA and over to Greenwood Lake NY.....Great coffee roaster there! Supposed to be 43 and partly sunny Saturday and last nights rain washed away the latest batch of road salt...so I'm going! I usually ride the V Strom in Winter due to the larger windscreen and partial fairing and because it has no chrome and little unpainted steel, so less corrosion risk. Plus it is an ADV bike and I don't care if  it gets dirty or a little salt on it. I could take Sophia this weekend but with little wind protection probably an hour or 90 minutes will be as much as I care to do. I got a bunch of those chemical foot warmers from Amazon, the full foot bed type, and they actually work! My toes used to be limiting factor on Winter rides....not an issue now. And I use a Hotwired electric jacket liner and gloves. No more getting cold and staying cold. If it is really cold I wear my rain pants over my normal riding gear to block all the wind. And also a full head and upper chest balaclava........I look like Lancelot. I could probably ride OK down to 25F but road ice is a concern so try to stay at 35 and above. Hope this advice helps.

One last thing to add.....I joke that I live in the New Hampshire part of NJ, and it DOES look like NH where I live, and is very sparsely populated. But the truth is that my town is in the same temperature zone as the very southern tip of NH on most temp maps. I see you are in Dover so a little colder than here. On the other hand NH is an incredibly beautiful state with many amazing roads and mountains. If you do move south, which my wife and I will do when I retire in 3 or 4 years, I suggest you take a look at North Carolina. More amazing mountains and roads and a bit milder in the weather dept, though the higher elevations get plenty of snow.

Day I picked it up from Hamlin's 1/21/2020 sight unseen. He wanted to load it in my truck. I wanted to ride first as I had never been on one before.
