What shocks have people put on their 1400 Eldorado's?

While I can't speak from experience I've read some that Hagon makes a great shock for the 1400s at a very reasonable price. I believe that they can be matched to your weight as well. Several have said the improvement is noticeable. The stock set-up on the Eldorado seems pretty good in my opinion. It's the first new bike that I've purchased that I wasn't in a rush to change out the seat and suspension. I had a Cal Vintage awhile back and the ergonomics were just horrendous for me; especially the seat. Good luck with your search.

I put a used set of shocks from a middle 2000's HD FXD model . They were a factory option at the time. They came with adjustable rebound dampening , a slot screw at the
top of the shock . The spring rate and dampening were nigh onto excellent and they were the correct length also . If you can find some on the net , go for it , they were the only
thing I took off my 2018 Eldorado when I traded it in . It was getting kinda heavy !  Peter

I bit the bullet and installed a set of Matris shocks today.

Just took a short ride. I can already see improvement with the way the bike handles. They are a bit taller than stock shocks so there is more clearance in the turns.

And how are they on the sharper road irregularities . The stock ones on my 2020 Eldo were absolutely awful on sharper bumps !

I live in New Jersey. There isn't a smooth road to be had. Big improvement.
