First day of 8am-5pm in almost three years. The traffic sucked. 35 minutes to get to work. Almost an hour to get home.I ain't digging it. It's only 16 miles. My evening commute was less that 20 minutes over the same distance.Maybe I should've opted for the severance package ?!?!?!?!?! :P
She is paying her rent and expenses for May. We are very grateful.
She'll run like stripped arsed ape, BC ;)
Downside is my brother continues to struggle with career, physical and emotional issues. He will take the summer off to try and heal up.
Kinda makes my little troubles seem ,well , small . My heart goes out to the above two posters . Dusty
After a record snow we got a record +3.5" rain in the last 24 hours. Yeah. Both records in the same 24-hour period. No end in sight. Did I mention the breeze? My roof lasted till past 4:AM except for directly over the bed. Now there's a mess right there.
Bummer for the daughter. Long term medications for chronic conditions is always a trade off of discomforts. I take the methetrexate (and predesone) for my PMR. Nasty stuff. I dose on Friday (can't work that day) and feel like crap all week. They tell me it beats the alternative though, provided her kidneys, liver, pancreas and spleen can handle it, it doesn't give her ulcers, her arteries don't spontaneously split, bones turn to jelly, or she gets a sudden headache and go permanently blind. The alternative is busting muscles off the bones, paralysis, and death. And of course forgetting to take a dose or two can kill her, too. So she could use some assistance and support. It's not easy to be on the support end of the problem. I applaud your partner's efforts.
If my girlfriend's daughter is any guide Muzz, you will get off it. P's D had very painful finger joints but no longer has to take Prednisone. Good Luck ;-T
Bill, how is your back brace working ?Dusty
I second that. Take it easy you blokes ;D
