Don't say I didn't warn you.

Now I normally don't mind that we are allowed to register just about anything and ride it on the street but I think this might be pushing the acceptable boundaries. The problem is that the parts of the government that process the title and registration don't care about the roadworthiness. They are just there to take your money. And as there are no inspections for vehicle safety here you can see what atrocities are allowed.

Some spotted this at See Sees Coffee and the owner was having issue getting it to start. Honestly I'm shocked it made it that far.

And yes, it will set you back $10k to own an award winning masterpiece like this. But who am I to judge?

Unmitigated risk aversion is the new Puritanism; complete with witch hunts funny outfits and humorless preachers thundering doom. The Deity is Safety; Satan is a Lawyer; but the object is the same: to suck the life out of life and tell you how to live it.

You're gonna give rats a bad name

It was self-proclaimed, not my nomenclature.

The fact that it was ridden... anywhere... is a miracle.

Waste of a good engine and parts. But someone will find a use for whatever bits survive the crash.

He will accept a swap for a 124 S&S?
I think he means a Fiat 124 USSR (Lada) surely, a rat car if there ever was one, sounds like a fair deal.

That open primary detracts from the overall look of the bike...It doesnt look dangerous enough........it needs a chain instead of the belt!

Best part is he wears a helmet, can't say i'd blame him. Hopefully it's a straight line home.

It has an air lift kit just like those $100k custom bikes!

Helmets are required here. Brains inside the helmet are obviously optional.

Be careful about what you wish for dave, I would love to have a bit more loose regulations on vehicles. Here in Denmark it is more or less illegal to modify anything on your bike or car, even if it makes it safer to ride or drive.

Technically my rebuild T5 isn't street legal as I have done a few modifications to it so it isn't standard anymore.

Ha!  A friend of mine owns an old fiat 124.  He has relatives in Georgia (the country) who send Lada parts to him.  It's a 1:1 fit from old fiats to the ubiquitous and wretched Lada!

No can do, I did get some license plates for it as I has lucky to find an inspection guy that liked the bike, so he closed his eyes for the details that didn't fit with the original

I have updated the thread with pictures of the finished bike with the tank on.
