The '86 K2 I bought new in '88 was exactly the same. If someone is wanting one, my current K2 can be bought for less than half of that one.

I do, but a number of factors have me wanting to move on. Primarily, lack of room to store more than two bikes and the need to generate enough funding to buy a replacement for my crusty old Eurovan.

Guzzis are the alluring but still practical girl you marry.  She continues to enhance your image over time.  You aren't a supermodel either, and in comparison she looks pretty exotic.

Morinis are the same except petite, and slightly more fragile.  Her family lives a long way away and she might therefore need more support from you to be happy.

My wife was once described (by an Italian with high social intelligence IMO) as an Aprilia RS250 two stroke.  Wonderful, a GP bike for daily life, but OTOH you’d better not take her for granted...
