I’m afraid that MG has left us ole cruiser fans behind and I don't see anything of this style coming from MG in the near future.
Agreed. To me, no California = no cruiser or tourer. But, but, but, there’s the Stelvio etc…., To me, no California = no cruiser or tourer. Will they once again revive the California name. Very likely. But, they don’t currently have a motor for one. Again, to me, the 1400 series was their grandest version, ever. A V100 version would fall quite short.

I know AI stuff is pretty boring, but this Guzzi FXRT combo is one I like.
I have been a fan of the Harley FXR series since they appeared on the scene in 1982. The FXRT was a "sport" touring model with this distinctive fairing. Of course, marrying the FXRT with a Guzzi makes it!

Generally speaking, for pre-’69, 305cc and below bikes…or something like that. Italian preferred. But, all welcome! Starts/ends at Steven & Lynn Rossi’s, 41 Orchard Rd., East Haddam, CT 06423. About 45 miles out, 45 miles back. AM coffee, Lunch stop along the way. Route Holder instructions provided…or, just follow somebody else. All paved roads, except for one very short section. Trailer parking available.

Good on ya, for still having the Breva (intentional or otherwise); I started regretting selling mine before it even left my mitts. The jury's still out on whether I prefer the V7 Classic. It's a close call, with Classic's retro-fitted metal tank competing against the practicality of Breva three spoke wheels. I must've had a Breva with a particularly good engine, as it compared favourably against either of my V7s. The V7III I feel will become too unwieldy in the long term - the skinnier/lighter Breva/Classic having the upper hand, at the expense of fuel economy. I betya had fun discovering the faulty sidestand switch! I'm envious of your cruise control. Thanks for the update. [You forgot to add a fresh pic.  ]

The Sport sure looks like a good bike, when it came out I fell in love with and bought a 2024 Stone Ten. For reference I had a 2014 V7 and a 2022 V85TT. I really love the performance of my "TEN", Im sure the Sport is the next level better.

Well, its been about a year and 6200 or so miles since I picked up my new Sport, complete with screen and centrestand, with my HB hard luggage arriving shortly thereafter. Its only had 2 problems;
1. A cracked instrument screen
2. A defective sidestand cutout switch.
Both replaced under warranty.
Its been a superb bike and hopefully the one that will see me out until I have to downsize one (hopefully distant) day. Its been on day rides and a short tour to Wales, and will go on another Welsh trip in a few weeks. The Big Trip this year was to Ireland's West Coast and back, and it gave me everything I needed for 9 days away, so hopefully next year I will be off to France, Spain or Germany. I don't need any more power, and the handling is solid. Cruise control is a godsend on motorway transport stages, the small screen just works for me, and the instruments...well I like em!
Compared to the Breva it has a LOT more power and torque, and is overall far more sophisticated, but it is a bit less "playful" I assume due to chassis geometry and the extra weight. Pushing it about has to be done much more carefully.
And I still have the Breva - but its seen a lot less miles this year! The occaisional blast like yesterday morning around Devon and Cornwall, the occaisional commute.
