Is that a dark green metal flake paint? Looks like the seat and giant windscreen are not factory either.

That looks like the original factory windscreen that came on my old 84. Luggage, too. I think there was only white or black.

Don't hold your breath.  He was looking for $2200 when he had it on CL, I'll bet he has a reserve of right around 2K.

It sounds like a decent bike. I have a white 84 in mint condition and really like it's smallish feel on occasion.
I think it would be a great deal at 1750...anyone want to guess on high bid ? Lol
