Guzzi California EV Tourer windshield "milky"
« on: August 27, 2019, 07:39:38 PM »
Hi Folks, I have two of the fairings from the EV Touring, and love them. they are on my Cal II, and 03 aluminum. My question to others that own these , the windshields, have yours turned sort of "milky" looking?  Both my bikes are garage queens, that are only outside when being ridden, and I only use honda spray cleaner, or plexus on the windshields.  Is it possible to remove this ,or is that the way they all are ? I know they are acrylic, not polycarbonate, so they can be polished to remove minor imperfections, etc.  any suggestions as to a possible solution?
thanks alot,
Rick.

I've had good success with a 3M polishing kit for plastic auto headlight covers. Any auto parts place has them.  All you need is a power drill and some patience. Follow instructions and go through all the grits in succession.
