I didn't say they were good!

They just share the name with a Moto Guzzi founder Georgio Parodi.

So, as far as I can tell from internet "research":
The Parodi family was from Genoa and some had emigrated to New York and sold their cigar company to another Italian transplant named Suraci. Georgio Parodi appears to be from same fmily.
It seems like a very strong connection. These cigars appear directly related to Moto Guzzi.

Do any of our Italian brethren here know?

IIRC those are Cheroot Cigar rough rolled cigars and chewy.  Think Clint Eastwood in the Sergio Leone's westerns.

So strange. I was smoking one of these when I read the post. I prefer the Avantis as they have a strong anisette flavor but are hard to find. These types of cigars have been around forever. They’re kind of the working mans cigar as they can go out and be re- lit through out the day without falling apart. One usually last me 2-3 days and I’ve never smoked one totally in one sitting.Petri was another maker. They always came in a 5 pack. One of life's little simple pleasures but not to everyones taste in this age overpriced overrated cigars.

Oh, I've smoked them in one setting several times.

I didn't feel like Clint Eastwood.
