Title: Part numbers for pre 1991 calif cruisrers ring and pinion 6/32 ratio
Post by: TOMB on October 30, 2016, 01:12:49 PM
Im looking for the part numbers for the ring and pinion that is for the optional gearing (for cruising around town).

In Guzziology the ref is in pg. 14-6 and indicates the tooth count of 6/32 for a ratio of 5.333

I have a lot of parts manuals but I cant find any part numbers for this application . Pinion end has 20 teeth and requires a

special coupling  (10 teeth  for driveshaft end and 20 teeth for the pinion end ) Im sure that this is low demand low need item

but any assistance will greatly welcomed.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Steve could you also provide the part # for the coupler for the drivehaft
To pinion. It's 10 teeth on one end and 20 on the other end.

OK, it says "to be mounted with double cardan joint #14328040 and sleeve #18327700"

Sorry, I was trying to fit a Centy wheel on a Tonti swingarm. It's real tight, I will have to remove the rear drive to change wheel and make a brakeplate.
